Sarcomere Gene Mutations -- Amplimer Search Form

Search our database by DNA sequence to find a known cardiomyopathy mutation. Choose a gene, and enter a short DNA sequence containing your sequence variant in the box below. The search engine will compare your query with mutated exon/amplimer sequences in the database.

Rules

• Use characters ACGTN only.
• Case is unImpOrtAnT.
• Only the first match within an amplimer is reported, if more than one is present.
• The query sequence is limited to 200 characters.
• Sequence from either DNA strand is acceptable as input.

For example, the query sequence aagTgcaga identifies a single mutation (MYH7 : Ala26Val), while one base fewer, aagTgcag, returns several matches.
