Yeast Oligo Microarrays
Aimée Dudley, Martin Steffen, and George Church

Our yeast microarray consortium currently includes the Church, Edwards, Rosbash, Silver, Struhl, and Winston labs. As part of this effort, the yeast Operon oligo set was purchased as a resource for microarray expression analysis. On this site you will find general information about the oligo set and how we printed it, comments and images from the first printing run, our initial assessments of array quality, and other useful information. We've also included protocols and product information. Once we have more data from these arrays, we will provide a comparison of the oligo- versus PCR-based arrays. However, we would like to highlight the fact that with the oligo arrays we are now able to detect the approximately 400 genes for which PCR amplification of the Research Genetics ORFs failed.
