I have a bunch of email addresses, and people often wonder which I
prefer. The short answer is that they all get forwarded to
the same inbox, so it doesn't really matter which one you use.
Although they all end in harvard dot edu, one (depalma at post)
is a lifetime forwarding address, and supposedly will be good for the
rest of my or Harvard's lifetime, even if I leave my present job.
A caveat: it has been known to reject
attachments larger than a couple megabytes.
(Spammers use web spiders to troll for email addresses found on web pages, so I am trying not to make it obvious to a machine that there are addresses on this page. My rascal.med address is pretty much spoiled now, though.)
These are all essentially the same address: depalma at receptor, genetics, salt2, or rascal.med.harvard, as well as steven_depalma at hms.harvard, and cgwebmaster at cardiogenomics.med.harvard.
Dead addresses are depalma@wag.bwh.harvard.edu and steve.depalma@channel1.com.
